We would just like to say again a big thank you for accommodating us. Both children and staff had a great time with you and your team at Wild Pines Park. The activities were great, and the timings were prefect. The children were engaged throughout. I am sure we will be back in the future 🙂.

I just wanted to send a quick email to say thank you for Friday. The children had a fantastic time (as did the staff) and it was lovely to hear the children talking about the fears they had conquered throughout the day.

St. Hugh's School - Woodhall Spa

Year 6 had a brilliant time at Wild Pines Park. They spent the morning up in the trees – challenging themselves and screaming down the zip wires!

The class showed fantastic team work as they all helped each other with the different activities. After lunch, they split in two teams: some did orienteering while others had a go at archery. Arthur did amazingly and managed to get right into the middle of the target - something that's quite rare, apparently! It was a great day out before their party in the evening.

The Year 10 Health & Social Care students had a great day at Wild Pines Park in Market Rasen today. It was a day full of challenge, endurance and perseverance, but most of all, fun! It gave the students the chance to apply their learning of Physical, Intellectual, Emotional and Social (PIES) development to a real life situation of new experiences.

Students spent the morning high up in the trees with 22 zip line spread across 6 courses followed by an afternoon of adventure golf and archery It was great to see so many students step out of their comfort zones and push themselves to achieve things they didn’t think were able to. The teamwork and moral support was fantastic to see and hear. A massive well done to all those that completed the highly technical ‘Challenge Course’!

Why wild pines park makes for an amazing day trip

There’s so much to learn in our forest - watch your pupils break out of their comfort zone as they overcome their anxiety, speeding down ziplines and growing their confidence in a safe and secure place.

Adventure pushes us out of our comfort zones, and the greatest rewards come from overcoming challenges and pushing through barriers to get a true sense of achievement.

WHAT TO WEAR

Wild Pines Park activities are mainly outdoors, so we suggest you wear something you don’t mind getting grubby, and of course, dress for the weather! No open-toed or slip-on footwear is permitted on the courses. Please wear secure closed-toe footwear with a good grip. We recommend ankle supporting shoes such as trainers. Some people like to wear gloves, especially if it’s cold. You can borrow pairs on the day if you wish, just ask an instructor.

Long hair should be tied back, waists covered, and body piercings removed or taped over as the participants will be wearing harnesses. Please note there are plenty of changing facilities if you wished to get changed on site.

SUPERVISION AND RESTRICTION RATIO’S

Our Instructors are highly trained, professional and will help people in the trees and will even go through the course with them too. They will oversee the fun. Our instructors lead the activities and supervise the technical safety of the ropes course. Schools remain responsible for their own pupil supervision and behaviour management in line with their visit policy. We will advise on practical group sizes and activity flow before your visit. They are constantly monitored whilst being attached to the flawless single line safety system. Our team will discuss this supervision at the beginning of your day. Quite often teachers leave our team to do what we do best and decide to relax in our hammocks!
