A PROPER WOODLAND ARCHERY SESSION
Take aim on our dedicated woodland range with guidance from one of our qualified archery instructors.
Your session begins with a safety briefing and straightforward tuition covering how to hold the bow, load an arrow and shoot safely. You will then have time to practise before moving on to games, scoring rounds and friendly competition.
Everything is adapted to the ability of the group, so complete beginners can learn comfortably while more confident archers can work on improving their accuracy.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE SESSION?
You will begin at a comfortable distance while your instructor helps you develop a consistent shooting technique.
As the session progresses, you can take on different games and challenges across our three range distances, reaching up to 24 metres. Each participant will normally shoot at least 30 arrows during the experience.
The session finishes with a friendly competition and a prize for the winner.
GREAT FOR BEGINNERS, FAMILIES AND GROUPS
No previous archery experience is required. Our instructors can teach absolute beginners as well as help returning archers improve their technique.
Archery is suitable for ages 7+ and is a brilliant activity for families, friends, couples and groups looking for something competitive, enjoyable and slightly different.
All bows, arrows and archery equipment are provided.
