★★★★★

St. Hugh's School - Woodhall Spa

Year 6 had a brilliant time at Wild Pines Park. They spent the morning up in the trees – challenging themselves and screaming down the zip wires!

The class showed fantastic team work as they all helped each other with the different activities. After lunch, they split in two teams: some did orienteering while others had a go at archery. Arthur did amazingly and managed to get right into the middle of the target - something that's quite rare, apparently! It was a great day out before their party in the evening.

Why Wild Pines Park makes an amazing school trip

A school trip to Wild Pines Park gives pupils the chance to try something new, challenge themselves and grow in confidence in the outdoors.

From high ropes and zip lines to archery, mini golf and woodland challenges, every activity is designed to encourage teamwork, resilience and a real sense of achievement.

Some pupils arrive excited. Others arrive nervous. By the end of the day, they often leave feeling proud of what they have overcome …and that is what makes the experience so valuable.

Flexible packages for different school budgets

Alongside our classic school trip packages, we also offer a range of alternative options to help suit different group sizes, age ranges and budgets.

Whether you are planning a full activity day, a reward trip, a Year 6 leavers’ visit or a lower cost outdoor learning experience, we can help recommend the best option for your pupils.

BOOKING YOUR SCHOOL TRIP

Simply contact our team with your preferred date, year group and approximate pupil numbers, and we will help you choose the most suitable package.

When you book with Wild Pines Park, you will receive personal support from the owner to help plan the day, organise timings and make sure the visit works smoothly for your school group.

Risk assessments and school paperwork

Before your visit, we can provide the key information your school needs to help plan the trip, including risk assessments, insurance documentation, operational procedures and a clear itinerary for the day.

This gives your school the paperwork needed for visit planning while helping staff understand how the day will run before you arrive.

Supervision and group organisation

Our instructors lead the activity sessions and supervise the technical safety of the ropes course. They provide safety briefings, support pupils during the activities and help organise the flow of the day.

Schools remain responsible for pupil supervision, behaviour management and pastoral care in line with their own visit policy.

Before your visit, we will advise on practical group sizes, activity rotations and the best way to organise your pupils across the day. Our team will also confirm the supervision arrangements when you arrive.

For ropes activities, pupils are attached to our continuous safety system and are monitored by our instructor team throughout their session.

WHAT TO WEAR

Most Wild Pines Park activities take place outdoors, so pupils should wear comfortable clothing they do not mind getting a little muddy, and should dress for the weather.

For ropes activities, pupils must wear secure, closed-toe footwear with good grip. Trainers or other supportive shoes are ideal. Open toed shoes, sandals, flip flops and slip on footwear are not suitable for the courses.

Long hair should be tied back, waists should be covered, and body piercings should be removed or taped over where needed, as pupils will be wearing harnesses.

Gloves can be useful, especially in colder weather. Pupils are welcome to bring their own, and spare pairs may be available to borrow on the day.

There are changing facilities on site if pupils need to change before or after activities.
